In order to compute a surrogate measure of blood flow through the pulmonary artery a dynamic CT imaging protocol was developed.

Contrast is injected and a time-series of images are acquired without table movement. The computer vision system performs automated segmentation of major blood vessels and measures contrast arrival time at each of the vessels.

Contrast-enhanced dynamic scan and segmentation of coronary vessels.

Contrast arrival/departure times in segmented vessels.
